Every winterization includes care for your boat and trailer.

Boat winterization

  • Circulate fuel conditioner through the fuel system
  • Remove drain plugs in bilge, motor, V-drive, exhaust manifold, and heat exchanger as needed.
  • Drain applicable hoses and onboard systems
  • Clean the engine’s fresh-water strainer
  • Confirm ballast is empty
  • Winter-seal engine as needed to reduce corrosion
  • Disconnect batteries
  • Test antifreeze concentration
  • Top off antifreeze

Trailer inspection

  • Torque lug nuts
  • Check tire pressure
  • Top off brake fluid
  • Inspect trailer lights
